A 24-hour window in WhatsApp refers to the session-based conversation model used for pricing.

• A conversation window starts when your business sends the first message to a user or replies to their incoming message.
• Once started, you can send unlimited messages to that user within the 24-hour period without incurring additional charges (as long as it stays within the same conversation type).
• If you message the user after the 24-hour window ends, a new conversation charge applies based on the message category (e.g., marketing, utility, Service or authentication.).

User-initiated messages (like a support query) open a free 24-hour service conversation window, no cost to reply(service category) during this period.

Marketing messages are billed at ₹0.95 per template message (India pricing). These include promotions, offers, and announcements.

Authentication and Utility messages are charged at ₹0.15 per message if sent after a 24 hours window. Within 24 hours, Utility messages may be free.

Yes, you can use your existing WhatsApp number with the WhatsApp Business API via Authkey, as long as the number:

• Is not active on the WhatsApp app (personal or business app). Account must be deleted before onboarding.
• Can receive voice calls or SMS for verification during the API onboarding process.
• Is not linked to another WhatsApp Business API provider, or must be released by the current provider first. (It is a WhatsApp API Account migration that needs WABA ID from the current provider and 2FA disabled.)

Authkey doesn’t have fixed WhatsApp plans that you need to upgrade or downgrade. You can start sending WhatsApp messages at any scale without changing plans.
